Currently I am working on a new series of photographs, featuring architecture in my home city Amersfoort. The target is to show the viewer my photographical view on the city. Yesterday I started with the new Eemplein and the area around the central railway station. Here you will find the first photographs of this new series. Featured in the photographs are the new Eemplein, an office building near the central train station of Amersfoort and the headquarters of Friesland Campina. These photos are taken with the Nikon D90 and a Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens.
Several weeks ago I moved to my new home in Amersfoort, which has a roof terrace that offers a great view over the area where I live. While sitting on the terrace in the evening, I had the idea to take photographs with my tripod to expose the beautiful lights from the city. The second photo even captured the stars in the night sky. Both photos are taken with the Nikon D90 and a Sigma 10-20mm wide angle lens.
Yesterday I visited a cool little music festival in Amersfoort with a great friend of mine. The festival was about alternative music and art, and organised by Per Expressie, a cultural organisation in the Amersfoort region.
The festival had a line-up of great dj’s and bands supported by an amazing crowd. On the festival terrain there was a cool variety of sculptures and graffiti art.
